After wetting his feet in high school rock bands and winning local "Battle of the Bands" competitions, Dennis was offered a dream gig and dived into a truly professional and full-time touring funk/dance band, "Geneva". At the impressionable age of 18, and in the hands of experienced agents, Dennis quickly learned the importance of connecting with his audience, and as a consequence, mastered the ability to read a crowd and get them all on their feet. From Melbourne to Cairns, his personality and powerful voice has entertained and enthralled many audiences and won him many fans both in the public and music industry.

The natural progression for any serious performer and music lover is towards original music and this is where Dennis found his true musical love, "Exhibit A" his first original band. While performing, writing, recording and touring with this band, Dennis's career steadily gained momentum Australia wide and internationally, culminating with a distribution deal at Warner Bros/Sire in the United States of America for their album "Stepping Stone".

True to his love of music, Dennis furthered his career and opportunities into the arena of musical theatre. He played the character of "Sonny" in a 1996 production of "Grease", went on to play "Jean Val jean" in the 2001 production of "Les Miserables", With only three weeks to go till the opening of the 2001 Australian Premier of "Jekyll & Hyde" the musical starring Donald Cant, Dennis virtually lived on no sleep, rehearsed, performed and brought himself to a new level of satisfied achievement. His most recent theatre performance was of the student leader "Enjolras" in the 2002 Canberra Philharmonic production of "Les Miserables".

Still eager to learn and grow as a musician studying with renowned teachers such as Classical, Opera vocal coach Pat Davies, he continues his studies with contemporary styles vocal coach Elaine Winter (Estille trained). Employing both vocal techniques with Hit Parade, It is with this outfit he can explore his full potential as a singer.

Dennis has opened for some of Australia's most well known artist's such as Jimmy Barnes, Divinyls, Screaming Jets, Mental As Anything, Jenny Morris, Ian Moss, Swanee, national and international artists such as Roachford.

Dennis clearly thrives from his passion and this is instantly perceived while watching him perform.
